Spanish Rice and much more!
Sharing plates piled with

The cuisine of Spain
transcends time and taste. To enjoy Spanish cuisine is to
partake in the Spanish culture, both offering zestfulness,
richness, and happiness. Our Latin speaking servers, the
aromas of garlic floating on air and the Picassos draping our
walls all combine to transport you to a place few Clevelanders
have been. Spain! A place where romance is second nature and a
celebratory vision of life and friendship is foremost.

Our Cuisine:
Our most popular dish is one
that is famous throughout Spain. If you haven't guessed
already, our
Paella is "to die for." We do an equally
fantastic job of preparing seafood and steak for your dining
pleasure. If you talk with someone who has been to Marbella,
ask them about the portions we serve. We are famous for
satisfying everyone's appetite beyond compare.
Wine connoisseurs and rookies
will be astounded by the sophisticated list of wines from
Spain to Chile, California, Argentina, Australia, New Zealand,
France, Italy and South Africa. Those out and about during the
day can take advantage of the reasonable lunches served until
4 pm. There’s even a burger made from ground filet mignon and
veal served with Spanish fried potatoes. End the evening with
one a homemade flan, tiramisu or keylime cheesecake. For
lighter fare, try a gourmet coconut or peach sorbet. Dinner
entrees range from $14 on up. Lunches start at $7.
Our Brazilian born, Spanish
trained Executive
Chef and co-owner,
Marcelo
Fadul excels in a tremendous variety of cooking styles. Each
dish explodes expectations, challenging the mind as well as
the palate. It's as though a path that begins in your backyard
suddenly leads you to the moon. This is the cuisine of Marcelo Fadul and Marbella.
Spain is setting the pace in
Europe today when it comes to wine and food. Marbella is doing
the same in Cleveland.
Food in Spain, Portugal and at Marbella is
taken very seriously. Meals are long and leisurely and allow
for the enjoyment of good company, fine wine, and a cuisine
which is based on a healthy Mediterranean diet.

The Atmosphere:
During the evening, entrees are
served with vegetable side dishes family style along with
enormous platters of steamed green beans and carrots, rice and
fried potatoes. The result is dizzying as waiters laden with
steaming trays of beautiful food hurry past your table. You
can't help but ogle other diners' selections as the staff
weaves around the tight pattern of tables. Our tables are can
barely fit the the parade of plates and platters. In a word,
wow. Or maybe a lusty "Ole!" would be more appropriate. Marbella
is not a stuffy Eastside restaurant. Far from it, we are
exactly the opposite. Before you know it, you will
probably know the first names of a few members of our
staff. We are friendly and talkative, although, for many
of us, Spanish is our native language. We have servers,
chefs and busboys that hail from Brazil, Portugal,
Mexico and Spain. After a night of dining at Marbella,
you will feel as if you vacationed in
Marbella, Spain.
Marbella
is considered a fine dining restaurant because of our
outstanding cuisine, piano music, crisp white table
clothes and exemplary service. Even with these
refinements, we still can't help but have fun every
night. Contagious
laughter permeates our lounge and dining rooms. At times
you wonder who is enjoying themselves more, our guests
or our staff members. You will often see our entire crew
singing happy birthday to an embarrassed and blushing
senorita. The service and surroundings
contribute to Marbella's refined, romantic ambience.

At
night, Marbella buzzes with energy. Dark-eyed, dark-haired wait staff fawn over
your every need and charm the senoras in the dining room with
their lilting accents. The striking contrasts between the
different regions of Spain are reflected by the tremendous
variety of cooking styles.
Our entire staff will sing
"Happy Birthday" in Spanish to highlight this special
occasion. There’s
something for everyone at Marbella including a private room
for business luncheons, meetings,
parties or just a friendly
get-together with old friends. The bar is always packed on
Friday nights as patrons reminisce and sing-along with local
star pianist Dennis Lewin. The dress is casual and
reservations for Friday and Saturday nights are strongly
recommended.

Treat a friend to a trip
to Spain, a Margarita and lunch.
Well, you might not have the time to take your friend
all the way to Spain. But the next best thing awaits you
on Chagrin Boulevard in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Call
216-464-9939 to make a reservation! After listening to our
Spanish speaking staff over an afternoon meal, you just
might feel like you spent a week in Madrid. Our walls
are adorned with paintings by Pablo Picasso and our food
is prepared from traditional Spanish recipes. Quench
your thirst with a good old fashioned Margarita while
exciting your taste buds with Camarones Enchilados (Shrimp in a Fra-Diavolo
Sauce).

Then again, we promise not to be disappointed if
you dare to order a cheeseburger and Budweiser. Bring a
friend who has never been to Marbella and you will have
a friend for life, especially if you pay the check. No
worries though, lunch at Marbella requires "poquito
dinero" (little money) with lunches starting at $7. Marbella's timely service at lunch is ideal for business
meetings. Marbella
serves delicious food in quick fashion at
lunch when the
occasion calls for promptness. If you and your business
associates are on a time schedule, please inform your
server and we will be happy to provide you with quick
and efficient service. However, if you are involved in
an important business meeting and need some privacy and
extra time, "no problemo." Our staff will even
provide you and your associates with extra pens and notepads
upon request. Our formal atmosphere, healthy cuisine and
professional approach help to guarantee that your important
luncheon at Marbella is a complete success.

The Best in Fine Dining
Service:
Outstanding Spanish
cuisine and exemplary fine dining service is our
trademark. We treat you like the King or Queen of Spain
when you join us for an afternoon or evening. When you
and your friends visit us at Marbella you will be
received like Royalty. And if you bring children, they
will be treated as if they were Princes and Princesses.
Our knowledgeable
and extremely attentive waiters glide between laughing
and whispering diners, available and informed but
never obtrusive. Your wish is our command. Outstanding
attentive professional servers like David (pictured
below at left) and Kelli make sure your dining experience
at Marbella is one to remember, fondly.

The details that are
synonymous with fine dining are apparent at Marbella.
Your table linen is "crumbed" between courses, half full
water glasses are refilled, loaves of bread are
replenished magically, champagne glasses are topped off,
ashtrays are emptied often, dropped napkins replaced
without notice, and it seems like you never have to ask
for anything. We can almost read your mind.
Our service staff is led
by one of Cleveland's most accomplished restaurant
managers, Jesus Demanuel. He recently helped Mallorca
win
Cleveland Magazine's "Best Service" Award for 2002.
Jesus
doesn't miss a thing.
Our staff is comprised of
numerous Spanish speaking members, many of whom hail
from this land far, far away. When you visit our
restaurant, you immerse yourself in The Kingdom of
Spain. This web site features an
outstanding section on the history and culture of our
native land. It is a must read for anyone interested in
where we learned our customs, recipes and lust for life.

Paella Valenciana,
Our Signature Dish: Spain is famous for
Paella and so are we. Clevelanders drive from near and
far to dig into this steaming seafood dish. It is so
enormous that couples often share this entree. And if
you dare to go it alone, chances are you will be having
Paella for lunch the next day at home.
Chef Fadul
really goes overboard when he makes Paella for you.
Heaping portions of Saffron rice are tossed with shrimp,
mussels, clams, scallops and fresh white fish.

 It doesn't
stop there. After the mounds of seafood are added,
Marcelo then adds slices of zesty Chorizo sausage, bit
size chunks of chicken breast, sliced red and green bell
peppers and peas. And just to be sure you don't go home
hungry, he tops off our signature dish with a
lobster. Are you getting hungry yet? We are, just
talking about it.
Before we
serve our Paella, we bring you a crisp tossed salad of
mixed greens and tomatoes topped with our special
Spanish dressing. This helps to get your digestive
juices flowing before you ravish the Paella. Oh, and by
the way, when we proudly place the Paella in front of
you, we also set down a medley of fresh vegetables that
include broccoli, cauliflower, beans and carrots. It
seems like most people go straight for the Paella
though, and save the vegetables for last in case they
have room left over.
