About Marbella
Our restaurant is named after
one of the most beautiful seaside resorts in the world.
Marbella is a small paradise-like city near the southernmost
tip of Spain. We opened to rave reviews in April of 2003.
Because our restaurant just
opened, we haven't had time to win any awards. And because we
share the same philosophies, staff members and cuisine as our
"sister" restaurant, we realize that we may have to share our
expected honors with
Mallorca. In any event, you now have a
choice of experiencing the richness of Spain on Cleveland's
Eastside or Downtown.

Hours:
We serve the finest Spanish
cuisine in Cleveland seven days a week. We open for lunch at
11:30 am Monday through Saturday. Dinner is served from from
4:00 pm to 10 pm Monday through Thursday and from 4 pm to 10 pm on Friday and Saturday. Selections from our dinner menu are
available from 1 pm to 9 pm on Sunday.

Directions:
Our restaurant is located at
29425 Chagrin Boulevard in
Pepper Pike, Ohio a short 25 minute drive from downtown Cleveland.

Dress Suggestions:
Our restaurant is considered by
many to be upscale casual. The dress code is informal,
guaranteeing you will feel equally at ease in suit and tie or
khakis and a short sleeve Oxford. Jeans are often mixed with
sport jackets (see picture below). Our best dress suggestion
is to wear what you feel comfortable in.

Our Tradition:
Although our restaurant is new, our menus and staff are not.
We have been operating the Mallorca Restaurant in downtown
Cleveland for years. You will find the same award winning food
and service at Marbella. In fact, our Executive Chef,
Marcelo Fadul is also the man in charge of Mallorca's superb cuisine.
The management staff (Jesus Demanuel and
Manolo
Torres) that guided Mallorca to the 2002 Cleveland
Magazine "Best
Service in Cleveland" award is here to make your experience
unforgettable. If you have frequented Mallorca, you will
probably recognize our hosts Manny and Jesus.

Our Cuisine:
Our most popular dish is one
that is famous throughout Spain. If you haven't guessed
already, our
Paella is "to die for." We do an equally
fantastic job of preparing seafood and steak for your dining
pleasure. If you talk with someone who has been to Marbella,
ask them about the portions we serve. We are famous for
satisfying everyone's appetite beyond compare.

Ambiance:
So what is it like at Marbella?
You will find perfectly set linen covered tables, tuxedoed
waiters, live weekend entertainment, mouthwatering dishes and
people having a really good time. Within minutes of sitting
down at your table, you will feel right at home. After just
one afternoon or evening of dining at Marbella you will
already sense that you are a "regular." That sense of warmth
and security you feel about your favorite restaurants will
quickly come to include Marbella.

Original Recipes from Spain:
Are you curious about the food
at Marbella? We use the original recipes that have been
perfected in Spain over generations. Our
Executive Chef,
Marcelo Fadul actually worked as a Chef in Spain. Our food
exhibits the same bold, spicy and zestful tastes you would
find in the dishes served in Madrid, Barcelona or
Marbella,
Spain. Our menus will have you salivating in no time. And that
is just the beginning. Nightly specials include Alaskan King
Crab, Duck and Lobster. Although Spain is known for its
culinary flair and appreciation for spices, we do a wonderful
job of creating traditional continental dishes like Filet
Mignon, Veal Chops and Pork Chops. If you make your way to the
"Menus" section of this web site, please do so at your own
risk. You may quickly begin to experience overwhelming hunger
pains that have been know to cause "impulsive reservation
making."

Special Occasions:
We are fast becoming a popular
"special occasion" and "date night" restaurant as word
spreads about our romantic ambiance. The professional approach
of our staff members and the distinguished decor are two
reasons why many business executives are scheduling their
luncheons at Marbella. Even though we offer some of
Cleveland's finest cuisine and a refined atmosphere, it
doesn't stop bachelor parties from booking one of our private
dining rooms to begin an evening's festivities.

The Lounge & Entertainment:
The lounge at Marbella is often
buzzing with conversation and laughter during Happy Hour which
runs from 4 pm to 7 pm Monday through Friday. Enjoy discounted
drink specials and complimentary food at this time. The lounge
also showcases the talents of the accomplished pianist Dennis Lewin on Friday
nights. Crowd favorites include "Over The Rainbow" and "The
Music of the Night" from Phantom of the Opera. Please
feel free to sing along.

Outstanding Fine Dining
Service:
Professional tableside service at Marbella is our
signature trademark. Our staff prides itself on being
attentive, friendly and unobtrusive. We will filet your fish
right at your table or flame a Chorizo Sausage appetizer
tableside. Our servers and bartenders frequently offer
insightful suggestions when invited and are happy to share a
story about their experiences in
Spain upon request.
We smile
and laugh and try our best to make sure you have a memorable
time when you are our guest. At
lunch, service can be quick
and timely and in the evenings we may take good care of you
for hours. Our professional servers are led by
Jesus
Demanuel whom has years of experience in fine
dining restaurants. Under their direction,
Mallorca
was considered to have the "Best Service" by readers of
Cleveland Magazine in 2002.

The Marbella Menus
Overseeing the
menus at Marbella
is our renowned Chef,
Marcelo Fadul.
His experience as a Chef in Spain, Brazil and New York City
has contributed to his authentic recipes and world class
cooking techniques. He personally tastes everything on the
menu to be absolutely certain that you enjoy the finest
Spanish food available. The daily specials Marcelo designs are
so good that many of our guests plead for them to be added to
our regular menus.
Our menus offer something for
everyone and every palette. Portions at Marbella are
incredible and are always boxed upon request. Smiling people
leaving Marbella with doggy bags is a common occurrence. Not
that our servers eavesdrop, but they often overhear comments
like "Oh my God, I am so stuffed." Make sure you come to our
restaurant with a healthy appetite and be careful not to snack
on the complimentary loaves of bread too much because your
meal will astound you tongue and stomach.

Fun in Marbella, Spain
Marbella is known for it's world class beaches and
beautiful celebrities. Marbella has been the
play-ground of the rich and famous since the early 50's
and since the inauguration of Puerto Banús in 1970,
Marbella became legendary on the international scene.

Marbella 2002 is a modern city with a large number of
quality restaurants, art galleries, glossy magazines,
night clubs and trendy cafés and bars, most of the in
names in haute-couture are present, so are the exclusive
car manufacturers and the chic interior designers.
But
it is also a city that lives out its roots, with
traditional Andalusian customs and ways of life, its
rich gastronomy - and the sun. The feel-good-factor is
high in Marbella.

Camarones En Salsa De Ajo
(Shrimp in a Garlic Sauce)
A dish that goes perfectly
with a refreshing glass of Chardonnay is our Garlic Shrimp. It
is served as an appetizer or entree. The garlic sauce is so
delicious, you may find yourself dipping your bread into the
dish to get every last drop. The chopped garlic in the sauce
really adds to the flavor of the shrimp.
We pile on the shrimp
and then lavishly drizzle our homemade garlic sauce over the
top. It is very rare that our table attendants ever see a leftover
shrimp when they clear this dish. By the way, the Spanish word
for shrimp is "camarones", "salsa" means sauce and "ajo" means
garlic.
