About the Marbella Restaurant

Marbella opened in April of 2003. We showcase the culture and cuisine of Spain. Our food is prepared using the original recipes of Spain. Our multinational staff is friendly and attentive. We are located on Chagrin Boulevard in Pepper Pike, New York. Our restaurant is a short 25 minute drive from Downtown Cleveland.

On weekdays we host a "Happy Hour" from 4 pm to 7 pm with complimentary food available and discounted drinks. Friday nights offer live entertainment in the lounge. A private dining room is available for parties. Paintings by Pablo Picasso brighten our dining rooms. Our sophisticated upscale decor is enhanced by wine racks and an open kitchen area. Smiling well dressed servers and assistants cater to your every need.

Our "sister" restaurant, Mallorca on W. 9th Street in the Historic Warehouse District has contributed much to our success. The management staff and Chef from Mallorca have worked tirelessly to create the same outstanding cuisine and service Cleveland diners have grown to know and love.

One of the most popular Spanish dishes we feature is our famous Paella Valenciana (Shell Fish Casserole with Chicken & Sausage in a Saffron Rice). It overflows with shrimp, mussels, lobster, scallops, clams, chorizo sausage, chicken, peas, bell peppers and saffron rice. This entree is synonymous with Spanish cooking and can be found in most restaurants from Barcelona to Madrid. Our Chef, Marcel Fadul and our kitchen staff use the highest quality ingredients and years of experience to create flavors that will dazzle your senses.
 

Many regulars who dine at our downtown restaurant, Mallorca will recognize some of the managers at Marbella. Manny and Jesus do a fantastic job of keeping both places running smoothly.

Marbella's mix of Spanish, Portuegese, and continental flavors are a welcome surprise for Clevelander's palates tired of meat and potatoes. English translations under the Spanish dishes welcome the uninitiated to the delectable mysteries of clams in green sauce, garlic soup, paella and much more. Parties at Marbella
You can choose from a variety of dining rooms for your special occasion. Private parties and business functions can be booked for your group or firm any night of the week.

We have a fully stocked bar available for your festivities. Imported beers, international wines and single malt Scotches are popular with partygoers at Marbella.

Our attentive, professional and friendly staff is very experienced in working with large parties. Your guests will be at ease as soon as they walk through the front door and are warmly greeted by our hostess Patty. Whether you are hosting a birthday bash, retirement party or a corporate seminar, be sure that Marbella will take care of every detail. We can provide audio/visual equipment upon request. Decorations, name tags, party favors, cakes, live entertainment, private dining rooms and special menus are also available. Although we are usually closed on Sunday, we are happy to open for private parties of 30 or more. Our extremely talented Executive Chef, Marcelo Fadul

Meet our Executive Chef, Marcelo Fadul. Marcelo is a master of Spanish cuisine. He was born and raised in Brazil. He has worked as a Chef at 4 Diamond restaurants in Spain and New York City. Marcelo excepted our invitation to come to Cleveland in 2001 to become a partner and the Executive Chef at Marbella. Marcello splits his time between Marbella and Mallorca (downtown in the Warehouse District). Next time you are dining at Marbella, feel free to ask your server if you could meet Marcelo when he has a minute. He is always happy to visit the dining room to say "Ola".

We feature a nice selection of wines by the glass at Marbella. However, the variety of wines that we offer by the bottle is extraordinary. From Opus One to Silver Oak, from Moet & Chandon White Star to Dom Perignon, the flavors and styles continue without end.

Our Red Wine List has a broad range of styles. Highlighted are Spanish wines, most of which are from Rioja and Penedes regions. This page has an excellent review of Rioja and the wines from this prestigious region of Spain. Our California wines include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Zinfandel. Our guests are often delighted and surprised to see Caymus Cabernet, Silver Oak Cabernet and Opus One on our list. Lush and robust red wines from France, Italy, Argentina, Chile, Australia and South Africa round out our award winning wine list. Crowd favorites include Louis Jadot Burgundy from France and and Rosemount Shiraz from Australia.
